We believe in one God, the Creator of all, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Gen. 1:26, Acts 2:32-33, Matthew 28:19, 2 Cor. 13:14, Titus 3:4-6)
We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is true God and true man begotten of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, and that He has a perfect and sinless humanity. (John 1:1, Phil. 2:6, Matthew 1:23-25, 1 John 3:5)
We believe each member of the human race has a sin nature from Adam’s fall, and has no ability to save himself from eternal punishment by his own works. (Genesis 3, Romans 3:23, Ephesians 2:8-9)
We believe in the finished work of Christ on the Cross of Calvary, through which sacrifice Christ has affected complete and eternal redemption, God setting His approval on the work of Christ by raising Him bodily from among the dead, enthroned Him at His own right hand in Heaven, and that He is the head of the Church, the Lord of the individual, the High Priest over the House of God and Advocate in the family of God. (1 Peter 1:3, 1 Cor. 1:18, Romans 3:25-26)
We believe in the immediate and eternal salvation of every person who truly believes in Christ and by faith rests on His finished work as the only righteous ground on which a Holy God can forgive sins. (Ephesians 2:8)
We believe that all who by faith repent and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior are born again by the Holy Spirit, indwelt and sealed by the Holy Spirit, baptized by the Holy Spirit into the Body of Christ, the Church, of which Jesus is the risen and ascended Head. (Rom. 10:9, 1 Cor. 12:12-14, Col. 1:18)
We believe that the church began with the descent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost and is composed of all true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. These believers are united to Him and to one another by the indwelling holy Spirit (Acts 2:1-3)
We believe that water baptism symbolizes and identifies the believer in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 2:38, Romans 6:3-4)
We believe that the Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members of the church, through partaking of the bread and fruit of the vine, commemorate the death of Jesus Christ and anticipate His second coming. (John 6:53-54, 1 Cor. 11:26)
We believe that the early Church met together and “continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship and in the breaking of bread, and in prayers”, which is also God’s pattern for the church today. (Acts 2:42)
We believe in His Second coming to the earth to establish His Kingdom on earth and to reign in righteousness. (Revelation 20:4)
We believe that marriage was ordained by God as the sacred union between a man and a woman. Christian marriage is a representation of Christ’s relationship to His church. We also believe that children are a blessing from the Lord. Thus, all human life is sacred and worthy of protection from the moment of conception. (Gen. 1:26-28, 2:24, Psalm 127 & 128, Psalm 139:13-16, Matt. 19:1-10, 1 Cor. 6:9-11, Eph. 5:22-33, Heb. 13:4)
